Debasish did his post graduation in Fine Arts from MS University, Baroda. He has also done conservation and restoration training from the National Museum, New Delhi. He already has a number of solo shows to his credit that were held in the Fine Arts Department, Baroda, Lalit Kala Akademi, Kalagoda Association, Mumbai, Jehangir Art Gallry, Mumbai and Triveni Art Sangam in New Delhi. Among the major group shows he has participated till date, the Harmony Art Show, Mumbai, Hub- A contemporary Parampara show in Baroda, National Exhibition at the Lalit Kala Akademi, Two Men show at the Osmaasis Art Gallery, Young Faces organized by the Birla Academy of Art & Culture, Kolkata and group shows at Hyderabad state art gallery, Dhoomimal Art gallery are worth stating. Debasish has also attended two artists? camps in Vasad and Jambugodha, Gujarat this year as well as Painting Art camp organized by the IVY League Academy, Secunderabad in 2006.
